The World of Veterinary Medicine is increasingly busy and over-scheduled. Most internal medicine patients cannot wait to be evaluated and many clients find it difficult to travel for an internal medicine consultation. Dr. Backlund offers the ability to provide specialized internal medicine diagnostic procedures and recommendations to your patients in the comfort of their primary clinic. This onsite mobile service can improve outcomes in patients by maintaining the continuity of care and helping to provide additional training to your staff while providing her professional recommendations based on the findings of the diagnostic procedure. Her hope is that she will become extended family to your clinic such that it will become second nature to offer the extended services an internist can offer to further improve the care and management of your patients.
This service is for veterinarians. If you are interested in our services, please contact your primary care veterinarian. If you have questions about procedures or results from diagnostic procedures performed, please contact your primary care veterinarian.
